Inspiration
As full time students we don't have a big income to spend on the supplies needed to further our education. Textbooks and other mandatory supplies can cost hundreds of dollars. That's money that most students don't have, which is why we sat out to create a solution.
What it does
Our site allows users to place old school supplies on the "sell supplies" page, where they will show up in the "purchase supply page" for current students looking for those items.
How we built it
We built it using the coding languages HTML and CSS, on Visual Studio Code.
## Challenges we ran into One major challenge we ran into was that none of us had ever used any of the coding languages required to build what we wanted. However we were able to learn quickly and adapt to the new languages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One thing that we were proud of was the logo and branding that was created for this project. The detail in the logo as well as the color scheme used all worked very well together. Another thing that we are proud of was our adaptability. Specifically in regards to learning the new languages.
What we learned
One thing that we learned was a lot about web development and what it takes to create a website. We also learned about industry businesses such as GitHub, Devpost, and Visual Studio Code.
What's next for Resupplied
There are a number of next steps we are ready to take with Resupplied. One of which is getting our site out to students, which will also expand the variety of products facilitated through our site. Finally, we hope to spend more time developing the website, so that our users can have the best experience possible
