⚡ Installation

1. Clone Repository

git clone https://github.com/username/ResumePilot-AI.git
cd ResumePilot-AI

2. Install Requirements

pip install -r requirements.txt

3. Environment Setup

Create a .env file in the root directory (or copy .env.example):

cp .env.example .env

Add your Google Gemini API Key:

GEMINI_API_KEY=your_gemini_api_key_here

Get your free Gemini API key from Google AI Studio.

4. Run Application

streamlit run app.py

Open http://localhost:8501 in your browser.

📖 Usage

1. Upload Resume: Select your resume PDF file using the left upload panel.
2. Paste Job Description: Paste the target job description into the right text input box.
3. Analyze Resume: Click 🔍 Analyze Resume to view real-time ATS scoring, keyword recommendations, interview questions, and career insights.
4. Generate ATS Resume: Click ✨ Generate ATS Optimized Resume to rewrite your resume and download ready-to-use PDF, DOCX, or Markdown files.
5. Access History: Access previous analyses from the sidebar at any time.
