Inspiration

What it does

🚀 Inspiration As a student and aspiring developer, I’ve seen how hard it can be for people to build a strong resume — especially if they’re not tech-savvy or don’t know where to begin. Many of my friends have the talent but struggle to present themselves well. That’s what inspired me to build ResumeGenie — a tool that makes it super easy for anyone to create a professional resume using the power of AI..

✨ What it does ResumeGenie helps users:

Generate a job-ready resume just by answering a few questions

Create a personal bio tailored to their field

It’s all powered by AI and built on a clean, user-friendly no-code interface.

🛠️ How we built it I built ResumeGenie using the Bolt no-code platform. Here's how:

Created a step-by-step form flow to collect user input

Integrated AI prompt blocks to generate content for resumes

Designed a clean and minimal UI to keep it easy for anyone to use

This allowed me to build and launch a fully functional app — all without traditional coding!

🧱 Challenges we ran into Prompt tuning was tricky — making sure the AI generated consistent and clear results took several tries.

Designing a flow that works for all types of users (students, professionals, etc.) was a challenge.

Since it’s built with no-code tools, I had to find creative workarounds for things like dynamic formatting and conditional rendering.

Let users build and customize their portfolio using their resume information without any code.

Add more resume styles (developer, designer, marketing, etc.)

Possibly integrate with LinkedIn or job platforms in the future

Launch it as a free tool for students and job seekers 💼
