Inspiration

I wanted a specific visual style to generate my resume—something clean, interactive, and animated like a timeline or network graph. Maybe not perfect in one shot, but pretty damn close.

What it does

ResumeFlow lets users input their experience and instantly see it transformed into a sleek, animated resume—either as a timeline or an interactive graph. You can toggle views and export to PDF.

How we built it

I used a one-shot prompt in Bolt to structure the app’s flow, UI, and visual outputs. The app runs entirely frontend-only with JavaScript-based animations and client-side PDF export.

Challenges we ran into

Designing an interface that matched my original resume style while staying responsive and interactive was tricky. Balancing flexibility with visual clarity required a lot of iteration.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The app successfully mirrors my resume layout and creates two dynamic visualizations from one user input—timeline and graph. The one-shot prompt got me 90% of the way there.

What we learned

With the right prompting and design planning, no-code tools like Bolt can create highly specific and visually polished apps. It’s all about the input structure and visual intent.

What's next for ResumeFlow

Next, I’ll add more export formats, integrate real-time editing, and allow import from LinkedIn or PDF to make resume creation even faster and smarter.
