What it does

Resume Wizard analyzes and produces actionable suggestions based on a user's resume.

How we built it

Built with Next 13, Tailwind, OpenAi, Langchain, and Vercel Ai SDK.

Challenges we ran into

One main challenge was making sure resume data was ingestable despite many file types and resume conventions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of getting this MVP working, trying the Vercel AI SDK, and leveraging Langchain to handle calls to the OpenAi API.

What we learned

I learned a lot about the Vercel AI SDK and how it works with other abstraction layers like Langchain.

What's next for Resume Wizard

I envision expanding Resume Wizard with a suite of enhancements to elevate user experience and optimize job placement results. Key upcoming features include:

Advanced Suggestions: Offering tailored advice and insights to strengthen each resume using Retrieval Augmented Generation. Custom Resume: Custom Resume generation using fine-tuned model. Certification Referrals: Guiding users toward resume-relevant certifications. Strategic Job Placement: Connecting users to suitable job opportunities based on their profile and aspirations.
