Inspiration
On Linkedin, every other day some HR professional would post that they have received hundreds of CVs for one single open position. I always thought of answering the problem and finally I was able to answer it.
What it does
You upload a Job Description and up to 100 CVs at a time. It will check each CV and rank them as per similarity to Jd, experience, skills etc. It will score each of the CVs and rank them.
How we built it
I used flask code to run Sonar API. The html design was first created in webflow and then converted in HTML. I have not made all the links functional and I have focused mainly on python part.
Challenges we ran into
I am very bad at design so it was the major challenge for me. Second getting CVs to test the software real time was an issue.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It is actually working what it should. It is saving 22 mins of time, $12 per hour and 63% reduction in cost per 100 CVs
What we learned
The HR process is not that simple and I have to integrate a lot of things.
What's next for Resume Referee:
To enhance it to integrate with end to end HR service, including my already created Voice Bot service for cold calling.
I am using updated version with token system so that this product can be monetized for an win win situation.
