Inspiration
Before building careers, we all have to start somewhere. Resumes are an important part of our job applications and we should get ensure that we are presenting ourselves in the best way possible.
What it does
Our resume checker uses AI to evaluate the contents of the resumes submitted and then outputs suggestions on how to improve them.
How we built it
We used Python to build an AI model that evaluates the keywords in the resume and then implements it into a website in a way that is user-friendly.
Challenges we ran into
We had problems trying to connect our website to the code that we wrote
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our team members are all new to participating in hackathons and we're proud of being able to learn a lot of new things in a short amount of time and finishing an actual product.
What we learned
We learned how to implement different models as AI and how to integrate coding into websites.
What's next for Resume Evaluator
We are planning to involve a more advanced AI system and include more datasets to train the AI so that we are able to obtain more accurate results.
