Resumes are essential tools for job seekers. Many people struggle with creating effective resumes, so using this resume builder can provide them a easy and simple way to create their resumes.

What it does

-Personal Information Entry: Users can input their personal details, such as name, contact information, and address. Some resume builders may also allow for the addition of a profile picture.

-Section Management: Resume builders provide predefined sections for various elements of a resume, such as summary, work experience, education, skills, certifications, and more. Users can add, edit, or delete these sections as needed.

-Template Selection: Users can choose from a variety of professionally designed resume templates. These templates offer different styles, fonts, colors, and layouts to suit the user's preferences and industry standards.

-Content Input: Users input their career information, including job titles, companies, dates of employment, education history, and other relevant details. Some resume builders may offer prompts or examples to help users write effective content.

How we built it

We built it through the very popular and efficient library of frontend "REACT.JS" with the use of redux toolkit and js files by building templates from scratch.

Challenges we ran into

As we decided to not use any library for templates hence we built it from scratch using bootstrap. Later we face challenge to store all the details from the form submission to template as we have manage various states including null values.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully built a basic yet efficient way of generating a resume from just simple form submission. This idea could be used in future and large scale for reducing human effort

What we learned

We learn the value of team work and build a n industry level project in such a short period of time.

What's next for Resume Builder

A very pretty good amount of templates could be used, various beautiful features such as AI complisher for generating templates based on specific demands could be added and could help students.
