Inspiration
Job seekers often struggle to know if their resume is strong enough for recruiters. I wanted to build a simple tool that gives instant feedback.
What it does
Resume Analyzer takes a resume, analyzes keywords, structure, and job relevance, and gives suggestions for improvement.
How I built it
- Wrote the backend in Python (Flask)
- Containerized the app using Docker
- Automated build & push with GitHub Actions
- Deployed using Ansible & Docker Hub
Challenges I ran into
- Setting up GitHub Actions correctly to push the Docker image
- Fixing Docker port conflicts while running locally
Accomplishments that I’m proud of
- Learned Docker, GitHub Actions, and Ansible in one project
- Successfully deployed my first containerized app
What I learned
- How CI/CD pipelines work in real-world projects
- How to use Docker Hub as a registry
- Basics of DevOps tools in a practical project
What’s next
- Add more advanced AI features (like ATS scoring)
- Deploy on Kubernetes for scalability
