Inspiration
I recently had to update my resume which took much longer than anticipated. I wanted a faster way to update/create my resume which is why I started this project.
What it does
Resumade Easy aims to collect your information, whether from uploading from LinkedIn or from manually inputting, and create your resume with the desired template.
How I built it
I used HTML and JavaScript to create a web application which creates your resume.
Challenges we ran into
As this was my first time using HTML and JavaScript, I ran into many challenges during debugging which also caused time to be an issue.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Im very proud of this project as the whole thing was coded in JavaScript and HTML, which I did not know beforehand. This was also my first time creating a web application.
What we learned
I learned new languages, how to manage time better, and the importance of making connections.
What's next for Resumade Easy
I did not have enough time to complete this project. As it currently is unfinished, I aim to continue working on this project and making sure it works as intended. After, I plan to add more features, such as showing the user what the PDF would look like and allowing the user to make corrections one last time before creating the document.
