Inspiration

An idea previously held, was refined and developed. The original idea of reviewing public restrooms got refined for the college experience.

What it does

The app finds the public restrooms closest to you, and tell you what other users thought of the restroom. You will also be able to rate your experience as either good or bad.

How we built it

We developed an Android mobile demo and designed a landing webpage for the app and desktop version (built using here.com's API).

Challenges we ran into

Lack of meaningful app development experience, and implementing here.com's API effectively for our particular use.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting a landing webpage up and running, and having an Android mobile demo working.

What we learned

The challenges presented by some API's and how they might not actually fit with what you are developing.

I got the team together and contributed setting up the scope as well as determining the the objectives of our app. I transferred the app on to the Android platform with Android Studio. I was also a key presenter for our product.

I contributed to developing the idea and was responsible for programming the landing page and the web functionality of the application as a whole.
