Before v. After Comparision

Inspiration

The three of us were students who had taken a photo editing class at one point before. We all talked about how apps like remove.bg made life so much easier. We wanted to make a website that would help ease a few of the annoyances students may have.

What it does

Using OpenCV and Numpy, it generates an old photo from an input that passes in a normal photo.

How we built it

Using OpenCV and Numpy and lots of random probabilities. We including blurring, noise, paper textures, film grain, grunge, and more!

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with out utilites. Google Drive was very hard to work with. Uploads would take hours and even the smallest mistake would set us back so much time. Just a few hours ago we lost two hours because of a simple misclick!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is one of our first hackathons! We're proud we were able to make a working final product!

What we learned

We learned to value planning and schedules. We also learned the importance of reviewing each other's code. Next time, the three of us will make sure to plan in advance and review everybody's code!
