Inspiration

As a member of my school's FIRST Robotics team, I've noticed that our team has a lot of trouble ordering parts. They often get sold out as soon as they are restocked.

What it does

The app we developed sends emails to users when an item is put back into stock.

How we built it

The app scrapes the VEX robotics page, and uses the Sendgrid SDK to send emails.

Challenges we ran into

It was hard getting the email variables to send to a separate file.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that it scrapes more than one web page.

What we learned

Scrapers actually take a long time to build.
