Inspiration

The inspiration behind this project came from seeing how unprepared and harmed people often are during sudden disasters like floods, earthquakes, storms, and fires. In real emergencies, citizens panic because they don’t know where the safe spots are, how to escape, or how to reach rescue teams. Many people lose valuable time searching for help or accurate information. Witnessing these situations—where a few seconds can save a life—made me realize the need for a simple, accessible tool that can guide people instantly and clearly. This project is inspired by the desire to protect communities, reduce confusion, and provide every citizen with a reliable companion that keeps them safe during the most difficult moments.

What it does

ResQX AI helps people stay safe during emergencies by providing instant and reliable guidance. like providing safe spots , evacuation maps , kits , nearby shelters, and live rescue team locations based on the user’s current position. The app also offers SOS support, early warnings for disasters like earthquakes, floods, and storms, and even suggests basic health kits needed during crises. In simple terms, ResQX AI acts as a calm and trusted companion that guides citizens step-by-step to safety when every second matters.

we built using base 44 app and some ai tools like chat gpt and gemini ai

Challenges we ran into

While building ResQX AI, one of the main challenge is structuring clear and detailed prompts that could handle different disaster situations accurately . Ensuring the interface remained simple and understandable for all age groups was another difficulty, since emergency tools must be easy to use even in panic. We also struggled with balancing multiple features—evacuation routes, SOS, rescue locations, and alerts—without making the system confusing or cluttered. Making the prompts respond correctly to different locations and conditions also required careful testing and refinement. and main making people trust on it

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that we were able to turn a complex problem into a simple, easy-to-use safety solution. Using Base44, we successfully built a working prototype that can generate evacuation routes, safe spots, rescue team locations, and instant disaster alerts
