Inspiration
We often witnessed lives being snatched away in accidents. Many were caused due to delay in the emergency services. Seeing this, we designed ResQNet to eliminate this disaster causing havoc.
What it does
ResQNet helps to make emergency services arrive at accidents with no delay. Devices with transmitters are set on street lights and pressing the buttons transmits alert signals to nearby emergency stations where a receiver is present. The station workers are given access to website to control deployment, analytics, alert mapping etc.
How we built it
We built the website with HTML, CSS and JS. Leaflet API, Alpine and Tailwind were also used. The model was built in Tinkercad.
Challenges we ran into
We often encounntered bugs in the API integration and deployment functions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that our idea has the ability to save lives.
What we learned
We learned 3d modelling in Tinkercad and usage of Leaflet API.
What's next for ResQNet
If we win the cash prize, the money will be used for making a real life prototype. With the prototype we will participate in national competitions and after reaching the final stage, we will get the opportuninty to present it to people appointed by the government. We will be able to express the idea to the government. Once, it is implemented, we will purchase the domain for the website and work for the bettterment.
