Inspiration
The inspiration behind ResQharmony was the need for a proactive and automated system to promptly notify emergency services and family members when an airbag deploys in a vehicular accident. The goal was to enhance emergency response times and improve overall safety for occupants involved in accidents.
What it does
ResQharmony is an advanced alert system that utilizes Event Data Recorder (EDR) technology and magnetic reed switches to detect airbag deployment in real-time. Upon deployment, it swiftly gathers accident data including the precise location via GPS and sends alerts to nearby hospitals and police stations, enabling rapid and effective assistance to those in need.
How we built it(in progress)
Event Data Recorder (EDR): Implemented to detect airbag deployment and gather accident data. Magnetic Reed Switches: Used to complement the EDR in detecting critical events like airbag deployment. GPS Technology: Integrated to accurately track the location of the vehicle involved in the accident. Communication Protocols: Developed secure and efficient protocols for relaying alert messages to emergency services. User Interface (UI): Designed an intuitive UI for emergency responders to interact with the system effectively.
Challenges we ran into
Integration Complexity: Ensuring seamless integration of EDR, magnetic reed switches, and GPS technology posed technical challenges. Real-Time Data Retrieval: Optimizing processes for real-time accident data retrieval and transmission required rigorous testing and optimization. Communication Security: Establishing a secure communication protocol to protect privacy while transmitting critical accident information was a significant challenge.
What's next for ResQharmony
we are in ideation phase and we are initially trying to create a model that gives a overview of our project and to know how best it can work
