Before creating this website, all of us had little to no experience with web development. However, throughout the Hackathon, we were able to gain skills and produce a working demo website that could potentially be developed further to aid refugees arriving in Germany. We were inspired by the work of Ukranian human and LGBTQ+ rights activist Bogdan Globa, who founded LGBTQ Ukrainians in America.
