As passionate individuals working within nonprofits, we were deeply inspired by the struggles many organizations face with resource allocation. Witnessing firsthand the challenges of efficiently distributing resources, we embarked on a mission to create a solution that would revolutionize the process.

Utilizing our expertise in web development and database management, we built ResourceRadar using a tech stack consisting of Git, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQLite, and SQL.

Throughout the development process, we encountered several challenges. Organizing files and databases efficiently proved to be a significant hurdle, requiring meticulous planning and execution. Additionally, communicating effectively via Git and GitHub posed its own set of challenges, which we tackled through collaboration and continuous learning.

Time management was another obstacle, especially considering that this was our first hackathon experience. However, our dedication and passion for the project drove us to overcome these challenges and deliver a product we're proud of. Through our first hackathon project, ResourceRadar, we successfully addressed nonprofit resource allocation challenges, while learning invaluable skills such as Figma for design and Git for collaboration. Our proud accomplishments include building a functional solution using React and overcoming hurdles in project organization and teamwork. Moving forward, we plan to launch ResourceRadar, gather user feedback for continuous improvement, and explore avenues for scalability and long-term sustainability to better serve the nonprofit sector.
