Inspiration

ResourceHub_Herise was inspired by the problem of digital resource waste in organizations, where software and AI tool licenses are often purchased but not fully used. This can cause unnecessary spending and poor resource efficiency.

What it does

ResourceHub_Herise helps managers monitor total, active, and unused licenses, track monthly software spending, assign resources to employees, and generate simple recommendations to reduce unused licenses and save costs.

How we built it

We built ResourceHub_Herise as a web-based platform using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and XAMPP. The system includes a dashboard, license management page, resource allocation page, and reports page.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was choosing the most important features within a limited hackathon timeline. We had to keep the system simple while still making sure it solved the main problem clearly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we completed a practical MVP that can clearly show license usage, spending, allocation, and optimization recommendations in one platform.

What we learned

We learned that clear data visibility is very important for better resource management. We also learned how to design a simple system that supports better decision-making for organizations.

What's next for ResourceHub_Herise

Next, we plan to improve ResourceHub_Herise by adding more advanced usage tracking, better analytics, automated alerts for unused licenses, and more detailed cost-saving recommendations
