Resource Page

Inspiration

I belong to an immigrant family and I have experienced the oblivion of not knowing anything about the education system. I want to make sure other students don't have to wander with their questions and have a trustable resource to turn to.

What it does

It is a resource page that has trustable links that will answer questions that first generation immigrant students might have.

How we built it

I used html to build this webpage.

Challenges we ran into

I ran into the challenges when trying to embed the YouTube videos into the web page but after watching a bunch of tutorials I was able to overcome that challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was my first time coding in html, so I'm just proud of having a functional code.

What we learned

I learned the basics of html and I hope to expand my knowledge on it.

What's next for Resource Page

Next, I want to add some CSS to it. I do not know how to code in CSS so it'll be a nice starting place and a good challenge I'm willing to take on. (My link isn't a valid entry in the "Try it out" links field so here it is: file:///Users/aadyamuley/coding/empowerhackathon.html)
