Resource Chat Online current development
Inspiration
What inspired me to build this online application is advancements in AI technology that allow for searching and aggregating public information relevant to specific queries. This technology may be applied in a variety of ways and is used as a tool to inform and provide opinions.
What it does
The application being developed will harness AI capabilities to train a set number of personas. These personas are experts in their respective fields and, subject to online availability, are deployed at the user's request to provide expert advice and guidance in the persona's field of specialization. This is achieved in a pop-up chatbot format.
How we built it
The application is being built using React no-code and low-code, taking existing code and integrating into the app, and deploying via Netlify for optional mobile app deployment via Webtoapp.design.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges we are facing are DNS configurations for custom domains and securing the site with SSL. Bug fixes are ongoing and mobile app design on Webtoapp.design is pending completion.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The core application has been developed with code snippets and bug fixes are ongoing.
What we learned
Learning experiences include difficulties deploying from Github to Netlify, and finding the best route for deployment. Also what paid services are effective to fully develop the app, ie: paid SSL, domains, Supabase, subscriptions for iOS and Android app store inclusion.
What's next for Resource Chat Online
Next is completion of the development and deployment, inclusion in the app stores and monitoring usage and maintaining the application.
