Resource Allocator

Inspiration

• With the current Covid19 crisis, resource allocation has not been any more problematic. The staff allocation and resources along with patients distribution are not being tracked and managed digitally which leads to many human errors in the management of resources with fatal causalities or rejection of patients.

What it does

• We are trying to tackle that by digitalizing the resources a hospital has. Moreover, we are trying to come up with both a crowdsourced way of requesting needed resources such as masks, medicine, staff, volunteers but also an automated way by using a Machine Learning algorithm to predict the usage in advance based on the rate of patients coming and the resources consumed.

How we built it

• The User Interface was designed first in Adobe XD than developed in React Javascript for a web-platform.
• The database is using PostgreSQL
• On the backend side, we are using Django
