Inspiration

Our inspiration was our love music and being in the theme of skater/performative vibes.

What it does

Resonate connects music lovers with the physical media they're passionate about. By integrating both Spotify and Discogs APIs, we provide an extensive catalog that helps users find exactly the hard copies they're searching for. From vinyl and CDs to cassettes, we offer everything a true music enthusiast needs to build their perfect collection.

How we built it

Used vscode to code and debug.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest hurdles was connecting the API to our program. Implementing the search features from Discogs and Spotify.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A complete website with search functions.

What we learned

Sine we were beginner coders, we learned both front and back end development. We became more proficient in next.js, realized the connection between text and buttons on a website to actual code implementation.

What's next for Resonate

The time constraint did not allow for our group to fully implement a Spotify account section. The account was supposed to connect users to their Spotify and the Spotify API would pull data from the user, such top songs listened to. This data would then be used to recommend the user products they would like.
