About Project

Resonate is a financial wellness and budgeting tool that helps users be more mindful of their spending, while gaining a sense of control over their finances. Resonate achieves this through syncing through physiological signals with their financial behavior. Traditional budgeting tools focus on tracking numbers made after purchases are made, but often times overlook the reasons behind these purchases. Resonate explores how biometric data, such as heart rate, skin conductivity, temperature, eye movement, and more can reveal patterns in stress, anxiety, avoidant behavior, and more caused or associated with financial choices.

By combining mobile application for an added layer of security and data privacy with AR glasses and smart watches, Resonate is able to visualize the data and provide necessary gentle nudges that point the users to reflect on their spending and control their impulses.
