We're building an agent to help therapists support young women with chronic, under-addressed emotional struggles like tense family dynamics, food guilt, sexual dissatisfaction, and burnout between sessions.
Why young women? As Gen Z women ourselves, we deeply understand why 40% of women under 30 drop out of therapy - it's usually not enough to give us the holistic, day-to-day support we're craving. One hour a week with our therapists can't address every emotional battle we face, from the chronic stress our strict parents induce, to emotional eating habits, to moving to a new city for an internship, or the spirals of procrastination. We build agents that re-engage young women with their wellbeing by listening to those in-between moments, tracking patterns over time, and summarizing what matters to share with the therapist.
This weekend, we built a Family Dynamics Agent to support young women navigating chronic stress from parents, siblings, and caregivers between their therapist sessions.
It's made up of six mini-agents that do very specific jobs: validate emotions after arguments, call out internal contradictions, surface unmet relational needs, map relationship dynamics, co-write tough messages, and help debrief after conflict.
Under the hood, it tracks emotional triggers over time, maps family roles and tensions in a dynamic tree, helps patients rehearse conversations with family members via roleplay, and preps them to steer family interactions toward the kind of relationships they want, not just manage the ones they have.
We’re partnered with a women’s mental health clinic in SF that specializes in intergenerational trauma, and they’re planning to deploy the agent to 50 patients.
