Inspiration The project was inspired by global supply chain disruptions like COVID and major transport blockages. We saw that many companies react after problems happen instead of predicting them early. We wanted to build a system that gives early warnings before losses occur. What the Project Does Our app integrates live real time data such as weather and other risk indicators. It analyzes this information and alerts companies when there is a potential risk to suppliers or transport routes. This allows businesses to act early instead of reacting too late. Challenges During Hack Night We faced time constraints since it was built in a few hours. Integrating live APIs under pressure was challenging because data can be messy or unreliable. We also had to coordinate quickly as a team and focus only on core features. What We Learned We learned the importance of clean and reliable data. We improved our ability to build structured systems quickly and prioritize essential features. Working with live data also showed us how real world systems must be fast and accurate. What’s Next We plan to improve prediction accuracy using machine learning, add historical trend analysis, and deploy the system on the cloud to make it scalable and production ready.
