We are team Cursor Warriors: JR Quint, Craig Chisholm, and Eyasu Berehanu. We're thrilled to present Reseet. Reseet is a mobile-first tool that transforms uploaded receipts into a clean, CPA-ready deduction report with zero hassle. During this hackathon, we succeeded in wiring custom-designed UI components directly into our receipt ingestion pipeline, supported by Gemini 2.0 flash for camera layers, and real-time categorization engine.

As a practicing CPA, JR's dad expressed the hassle of shuffling through crumpled receipts and invoices to determine deductions for clients. In general, saving paper receipts and digital ones for tax season is something we all don't think about, but could save money down the line.

All UI components are hand-designed in Figma and implemented as reusable TypeScript/React Native primitives.

Challenges we ran into

As a team, we're proud of each other's strengths. We were insanely challenged for the past 24 hours, put to the test as individuals and as a team.

We learned how to prompt-engineer AI agents to convert designs into compatible code. Multiple refactors were necessary in the conversion process, but we got it done.
