We built Research Spider because navigating academic literature can be overwhelming especially for newcomers. When I joined my first research team, I struggled to understand the surrounding research landscape. I had to read dozens of papers, track citations, and constantly search for related work, all while trying to grasp concepts I’d never seen before. Finding meaningful connections between papers took hours, and knowing whether I was even looking in the right direction was difficult. Research Spider was created to solve this exact problem. It gives beginners a clear, intuitive map of the research space while also helping experienced researchers quickly spot relevant work, uncover hidden connections, and explore ideas more efficiently. It turns a time-consuming, confusing process into a guided, intelligent, and streamlined experience.
