Inspiration
I was going for a ML based recommendation engine but this is my first hackathon, I am going to take it easy, and based on requirements I deliver functional code.
What it does
Uses Google and advance querying with filtering to retrieve research papers and mail them.
How we built it
This was built on a Flutter frontend, and a Firebase backend. Dart and JavaScript were the main languages used. The databases are NoSQL in Firestore.
Challenges we ran into
Understanding the scope of this project, planning how to deliver research articles based on user interests.

What's next for Research Mailing List
-Building a ML recommender. -Suggesting past and new research papers based on reader history.
