Inspiration

Problems we faced when choosing the right academic path.

What it does

Allows the users to find, filter and save professor's research to apply for opportunities based on it.

How we built it

We first structured and created a design prototype, after we each split tasks, working on different pages, both front and back-end using react, node.js.

Challenges we ran into

The packages we tried working with were not working with other technologies used, so we had to change multiple times the approach both for the front and back-end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The friends we made along the way, the experience, bonding, and the amount of devotion and dedication put into the project, by all members, pushing our boundaries.

What we learned

We delved deeper and deeper into new and already known technologies used, such as react, CSS, and node.js.

What's next for Research Opportunities Platform

We aim to complete the project and make a change, helping other students struggling with the same issue.
