Inspiration From an Uncle who has a start up, as I have watched him struggle his way through resources.

What it does: The idea I have come up with is used to help companies find the appropriate software tools for the respective purpose, within their financial budget. It is relevant to our world as we help companies by researching the tools that are best for them ; hence increasing their success rate.

How we built it: We brainstormed on the problem faced by companies -Most companies, when looking for a software tool be it in sales, finance, marketing, HR, purchase, operations for a specific purpose will search a few tools that meet the requirements and pick the best out of them. This however is rather inefficient as there might be other tools which could meet their specific requirement of today and their growth of tomorrow within their current budget. This is the problem we are solving. Here we are doing the research for them out of all the possible tools and giving them the best options to choose from. This is a problem faced by every company walking the automation route or going through the growth phase to become more efficient. This problem needs to be solved as companies that do not have the best tools for them have a lesser success rate for any task they perform and will most likely take a longer time or be unable to do it. If this problem is solved the way we are doing it, then it will help a lot of companies, startups, well-offs and even the big ones.

Challenges we ran into: Identifying the problem, finding a solution, charting the potential customers, revenue generation and implementation plan.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: That we have arrived at the blue print of the whole idea and even presented our ideas to a couple of start-ups who are now keen on taking our services.

What we learned: That it is possible to create solutions, translate a plan from the paper to the real world. The solution comes out of the problem upon studying the problem.

What's next for Research based consulting company:

We need to hire a team who would have worked in these departments of various companies- Purchase & IT ; they will bring with them the knowledge of the latest software tools to meet different requirements of different kinds of companies. We will also build a team who will do market research. Intially we start off with 2 or 3 companies to search out the tools as per their current requirements. Slowly we will build a database of tools available across the globe for different needs and costs. These are the things that need to be done in the next 6 months.
