Inspiration

Requiem is about the decay of a relationship. The animation was inspired by the lyrics.

The song was performed in London by the singer/ songwriter. She captured her performance in a black studio, with a mobile phone. The animation was created using a mix of midjourney, luma ai, runway act 1, and premiere pro. We trained the AI to look like the singer.

The challenge has been the constant updates in AI software. Had runway act 2 been available at the time, we would have been able to incorporate more movement in the character.
