Progress Update: Reputop’s Data Engine Is Live!
We’ve now parsed, normalized, and imported data for 133,982 unique service providers across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
Our database spans 417 service categories and 201 major cities—no scraping from old directories, just live-verified, real businesses.
This generates over 15,700 unique leaderboard pages and nearly 134,000 dynamic provider profiles, making Reputop the largest global local service leaderboard platform outside of Google.
Next up: Routing!
All the data is ready and structured.
I’m now focusing on bulletproofing the dynamic routing system, so every city, category, leaderboard, and provider gets its own live page.
Still a solo build (and still moving pianos between coding sessions), so routing improvements are rolling out as time allows.
Stay tuned for more updates. The global leaderboard era is just beginning.

Reputop: Post-Submission Progress Update
Taking advantage of a rare day off to ship like Repufoot! Since submission, I’ve pushed a wave of improvements and new features to https://beta.reputop.com (so the main demo stays untouched for judges):
Stay tuned for even more shipping—next up: international expansion, advanced analytics, and full provider profiles.
Thanks for following the journey!

Hey everyone – following up on our previous technical update about the last-hour submission challenges. While that post outlined the hurdles we faced, I wanted to share the full, personal story behind Reputop's creation and why it truly represents a new standard for trust in local services.
From Piano & Box Mover to Global Platform Builder in Just 14 Hours (Active Build Time)
My name is Andris, and I'm a piano and box moving specialist by trade – not a professional developer. My journey into building Reputop began with a clear problem: witnessing firsthand the chaos of fake reviews and shady tactics that make finding honest local services a nightmare. I was determined to find a better way to connect people with trustworthy providers.
Fueled by this vision, I strategically planned Reputop for about three weeks in my spare time. I even built an initial beta in 5 hours, but decided to scrap it to build the robust version you see today. This entire platform was then created by me, completely solo, in an intense 14 hours of active development. And to be clear, those 14 hours were spent battling relentless errors, deployment issues, and agonizingly long build times. My only "co-pilot" throughout this entire process was ChatGPT.
Reputop: A Self-Sustaining "Reputation Mirror"
Despite the extreme constraints, Reputop is already a live, functional, and self-feeding platform:
Commitment to Truth & Future Vision:
Reputop is more than just a platform; it's a mission to elevate service quality. We ensure ad integrity through smart, multi-layered moderation (automated checks and community flagging). In the future, our own review system will demand proof of service, ensuring unparalleled authenticity. We'll also use AI to generate actionable roadmaps for businesses, helping them understand and fix their problems (available via paid reports).
Reputop won't stop at the hackathon. It represents what's possible when a real-world problem meets strategic thinking and relentless execution, even from an unconventional background.
Thank you for considering Reputop. I truly believe this platform will make life better for both service providers and users.

Hey everyone — quick update from the Reputop team.
We just managed to submit our project through the late submission link (huge thanks to the Devpost team for understanding). Unfortunately, due to extreme last-hour issues with the builder platform and video tools, the final video and submission are far from what we originally envisioned.
Bolt builder slowdowns In the final hours, the platform began lagging heavily — builds were taking 20+ minutes or stalling completely. This made final UI polish, leaderboard browsing, and video capture nearly impossible.
Video limitations Our plan was a narrated walkthrough explaining Reputop’s vision, mechanics, and monetization. Due to constant lags and failed recordings, we had to fall back to a raw, silent walkthrough.
Huge build scope Reputop was built fully during the hackathon: backend ingestion engine, dynamic frontend, monetization logic, global leaderboard routing, and live submission/payments — all from scratch. We stretched hard, but time caught up.
With even 24 more hours, we would’ve:
Even in this state, Reputop is live and real:
We’re solving a real trust problem in local services, and we’ve already got the engine running. Reputop won’t stop at the hackathon.
You don’t join Reputop. You get ranked by it.
Thanks again to the judges and community — we hope you see the potential, even in this rough cut.
— The Reputop Team
