Inspiration

Ed, a fellow Invents' students' uncle, has been diagnosed with Emphysema and his oxygen canister is seen as a nuisance.

What it does

It creates an autonomous rover that follows the patient holding the oxygen canister.

How we built it

The CAD work was done in Inventor and the companion app was developed in Swift

Challenges we ran into

Errors in the code as well as optimizing the system

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Understanding the modeling in the CAD and getting the mechanism to animate

What we learned

We learned all about Swift because of the app and utilized the animation tool for Inventor.

What's next for Respi-Rover

Additional options and capabilities for the app and maybe even different utilizations of tracking software such as Myo.
