Inspiration We wanted to create an app that helps people build and maintain positive habits, encouraging a balanced lifestyle through friendly competition and community support.

What it does The Habit Tracker app enables users to create and manage personalized habits, set reminders, track activities like running and coding, participate in challenges, and view progress on leaderboards, all while earning rewards for consistency.

How we built it We developed the app using a combination of mobile development frameworks and integrated APIs to track physical activities and GitHub commits. The backend supports data collection, user management, and the challenge system, with a user-friendly interface for seamless interaction.

Challenges we ran into Integrating diverse data sources like fitness tracking and GitHub activity posed technical challenges. Ensuring data accuracy and providing real-time updates while maintaining user privacy were also significant hurdles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We successfully created a robust platform that integrates multiple data sources and provides a comprehensive habit tracking experience. The implementation of a challenge system with leaderboards has fostered a strong sense of community and competition among users.

What we learned We learned the importance of balancing functionality with user privacy and the technical intricacies of integrating various APIs. User feedback highlighted the need for an intuitive interface and seamless interaction between different app features.

What's next for Repeat We plan to enhance social features, including more interactive challenges and community events. Expanding integration with other health and productivity apps and incorporating advanced analytics for deeper insights into habit formation are also on our roadmap.
