Inspiration
We realized that in moments of household emergencies—like electrical failures or plumbing issues—it’s difficult to find trusted and immediate help. That's where Repario comes in: an on-demand platform to instantly locate, connect with, and hire verified repair professionals near you.
What it does
Repario helps users:
- Book nearby electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and more in real time.
- View verified service provider profiles.
- Track their location via a live map.
- Initiate emergency bookings instantly.
How we built it
We used:
- React Native + Expo for the mobile frontend.
- Supabase for authentication, user data, and booking database.
- Bolt.new for rapid UI development.
- Netlify for deployment.
- MapView APIs for live location integration.
Challenges we ran into
- Integrating real-time map-based tracking.
- Debugging issues with authentication and logout flows using Supabase.
- Handling cross-platform testing across different devices.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
