Inspiration
Home repair problems are common, but diagnosing them correctly is difficult, time-consuming, and often unsafe without expert knowledge. We were inspired by how AI can “see and understand” problems from images, and wanted to build a system that makes home repairs faster, safer, and smarter for everyone.
What it does
REPAIR ME is an AI-powered home repair assistant. Users can upload photos or videos of a faulty appliance or household issue. The system analyzes the input, identifies the problem, suggests safety-first DIY solutions, or connects the user to verified professional technicians with transparent pricing and booking.
How we built it
We built REPAIR ME using modern AI tools and cloud-based technologies. The core system uses multimodal AI to analyze visual inputs and generate contextual repair guidance. The frontend focuses on a simple, simulator-style walkthrough experience, while the backend handles AI processing, logic flow, and service recommendations.

What we learned
We learned how to work with multimodal AI, manage cloud-based development, handle real-world problem constraints, and design user experiences that prioritize safety. This project also strengthened our teamwork, planning, and rapid prototyping skills.
What's next for REPAIR ME
Future plans include real-time technician integration, regional service support, multilingual AI assistance, deeper fault detection, and deployment as a full-scale mobile application for everyday users. AND I HOPE AND DO WORK FOR IT THAT ONE DAY IT WILL BE LAUNCHED AND HELP OTHERS COZ THE FUTURE WILL BE "AI ERA" SO IT WILL DEFINATELY BLOOM.
