Inspiration
Pakistan is a nation where people want to consume products and services and want to pay lowest against it. Hence Rentree is empowering the user to follow the concept of renting items and leave the idea of purchasing. This is where our startup idea came from where we want to revolutionize the renting world.
What it does
Rentree is the first and only peer-to-peer rental marketplace, empowering users to follow the concept of sharing and leave the idea of purchasing. With Rentree, users can easily borrow items that they need and lend items they don’t. With Rentree users can browse through tons of items that are available for rent and book the items for their usage for as long as they need. User can use the item for number of days he/she has booked it for. and return item in its original condition. Where borrower can use the item, lender will earn money on the rented item on daily basis.
How we built it
We developed the app react-native using visual studio. Google map apis were used. UI was built on adobe xD
Challenges we ran into
One challenge we are currently facing in Pakistani market is to gain credibility & trust of the people who want to rent their items.
Other challenges include: technical errors to compile the app

What's next for Rentree
Currently the app is free for users. Going forward, we will be introducing featured ads. Also gaining the credibility of user. We will introduce two way rating in future.
