Rent-A-Bike

Inspiration

I was new to Chennai when I joined my college last year. I want to explore the Chennai. But to explore the Chennai I need to book rapido or ola to reach the destination everytime. It was not convenient and time consuming as I need to book these everytime so that I could trave only to limited places on a single day. To overcome that I came up with an idea to rent a bike. But it was very limited network. Couldn't find the rented bike places so easily. When I searched it online there wasn't a proper site to rent a bike. So I came up with an idea that why can't we build a site which allows us to rent an e-bikes.

What it does

One can book a e-bike from any of the nearby charging station and take it out to explore the city and drop the same bike to any of the charging station that is nearby to your final destination

How we built it

We started building Ui and Ux part of the site from Figma which is an prototype of our idea.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge we went through was building an simple and minimalist Ui for our website which can be used by all age group of people

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a front end design and got an idea about how to implement our project in real time

What we learned

We learnt basic UI design principles

What's next for Rent-A-Bike

We need to build an backend functions to our website and host it. And also make a dashboard which can be uses by the network of EV providers to manage their bikes and incomes easily.
