Inspiration Creators keep hitting “AI Info” / provenance labels after editing or generating images. A lot of that comes from embedded C2PA, XMP, and EXIF — not from the pixels alone.
What it does Remove AI Label is a free, browser-only tool: pick photos (batch up to 30), strip AI-related and general metadata locally, then download Social_Ready files. Nothing is uploaded to a server for processing.
How we built it Client-side metadata parsing and rewriting in the browser (C2PA/JUMBF where supported, plus XMP/EXIF/PNG text chunks). Same workflow whether you came from Instagram prep, Etsy listings, or a generator export.
Challenges Different containers store provenance differently; “AI label” on a platform ≠ one single EXIF field. We focused on practical upload-prep rather than claiming undetectable images.
What's next Stronger Checker ↔ Remover loop and more format coverage.
