Inspiration

I have a MA in Audio-Visual Communication. a music production diploma and relevant innovation contest participation. I have been a MS patient for 6 years now and am an active member of the local Romanian association for neurodegenerative illnesses, so I am aware of he struggles with MS also first hand and also via the patient Experience and Qualifications association. I believe that music has a impact on neurological circuitry that we can use to our advantage this fact has also been reflected in the neurology and music therapy literature/science and also by neurologists such as Oliver Sacks. Now together with my Cloud Software As a Service consultant job at Oracle and my activity in pharma purchasing I got to understand the benefits of telemedicine for chronic patients and the usage of cloud technology in facilitating and helping mobile native solutions become social innovation driven change tools. I have realized the advantage and the power of it tools to build communities and I think we need driven people who can do just this lead change in community with point on precise solutions, personalized for patients, researched and experience based tools.

What it does

Mobile application that converts MRI images into unique therapeutic musical composition, based on patented patient innovation tech. We have a scientific study for neurological bypass through music, memory and MSing algorithm. We have developed a web application to handle to handle pacient file automation through OCR automated import and through ML they can make a diagnosis based on file input.

How we built it

Java based algorithm for the patented tech and PHP for the pacient file administration Cloud based web application.

Challenges we ran into

OCR was very difficult to programm in the accurate and style manner of tipical medical files

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The uniqueness of the project lies in the algorithm, the unique approach of a music generating mechanism based on MRI image is something that is being approached by MSing in a very unique way. And the rendition of the image in music is unique for each MRI image processed, now giving you a quote from one of my use cases "You can hear witch MRIs have more lesions and which MRIs don't based on the music. On the document management we are happy that we have created a OCR based tool that can help doctors and paients with their file visibility accuracy and disgosis.
