SOFY - Mobile App Testing for Developers working from Home
Enable productivity of mobile apps teams working remote with access to real devices, attach diagnostics and contextual data with bugs for developers, enable multi-user app testing, nocode automation
Inspiration Testing of Mobile Apps is mostly manual since a mobile app needs to be tested across devices, browsers and OS. Automation requires high level skillset and is not resilient to changes in devices and dynamic content. Typically during testing, devices are shared across the team and collocation or close collaboration across devs and QA engineers. With teams now forced to work from home, this has caused a big disruption to business who now have to rely on online forums to sustain their business. Digital engagement is the only way retail, banking companies can engage their customers. Hence we believe that a platform like SOFY which enables businesses to stay productive is very critical at this point in time.
What it does SOFY testing platform allows developers to remote access to real Android and IOS devices, augments manual testing by transforming from analog to digital domain and automates without requiring any coding. It enables seamless movement between manual and automated testing. It allows release managers to understand tester productivity and device coverage metrics.
How I built it We built SOFY using Azure PaaS service using ML to provide intelligence to enable robustness during testing. SOFY has a BOT that autonomously navigates the App UI and validates conformance to 500+ industry best practices.

What's next for Remote Testing of Mobile Apps We continue to enable SOFY's ML capabilities so it understands nuances of wide spectrum of apps. We are enabling ability to read test data from data files.
