Inspiration

The project was inspired by the current pandemic that has led to many online classes, making it difficult for students to connect and reach out to one another.

What it does

The app groups students taking the same classes, allows students to form study sessions, chat with each other, set reminders for upcoming assignment deadlines, and share notes online.

How it was built

The frontend is built by dart with Flutter (Dart) and the backend is built by Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

Remote working with teammates led to communication challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are able to finish the front end and get some part of the backend done.

What's next for Remote Partner

We plan to set up a well-rounded backend and add more features for remote interactions such as online calls.
