This app is a remote to arm and disarm your home alarm system using a Raspberry Pi from anywhere in the world!
How does it work? It toggles the GPIO pins high on the Raspberry Pi that are connected to your home alarm control panel to arm and disarm it. If you correctly set your port forwarding rules on your router, you can essentially arm and disarm your alarm from anywhere in the world!
Other uses? It can be used as a remote for anything that is connected to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO pins. The app includes a configuration page where you can select the GPIOs you wish to toggle as well as the IP address of your Raspberry Pi. The sky's the limit as to what can be done!
