Inspiration
We recognized that busy professionals everywhere were drowning in the endless cycle of appointment management, missed calls, no-shows, and the constant back-and-forth of rescheduling. The "aha moment" was realizing we could bring AI directly into calendar workflows. With the rise of intelligent assistants and automation, we saw an opportunity to transform one of the most time-consuming aspects of professional life into something seamless and intelligent.
What it does
Reminder Pro successfully transforms the scheduling experience from chaotic to seamless. With its AI-powered assistant, intelligent reminders, and intuitive interface, it delivers on our core promise: saving professionals 5+ hours weekly while preventing thousands in lost revenue. The project demonstrates how modern web technologies, when combined with AI capabilities and thoughtful UX design, can solve real-world problems at scale.
How I built it

Challenges I ran into
You know that feeling when you're deep in a coding session, everything seems to be going perfectly, and then... BAM! One little change breaks everything? And suddenly you're staring at a screen full of red error messages that might as well be written in ancient hieroglyphics? It's like a domino effect, isn't it? You fix one error, and three more pop up. You revert that change, but now something else is broken that was working fine five minutes ago. Before you know it, you're doing the "git reset --hard" dance for the tenth time today, desperately trying to get back to that magical moment when everything actually worked. And the worst part? Half the time you can't even remember what you changed! You're sitting there like "I swear I only moved a button two pixels to the left, how did that destroy my entire database?" It's especially brutal when you're working on something like we were with Reminder Pro today, making what should be simple visual tweaks, and suddenly the whole deployment pipeline is having an existential crisis. One minute the site is gorgeous, the next minute it's serving up a lovely blank page to confused visitors. But here's the thing - every developer has been there. Those countless errors? They're battle scars. Each destroyed file teaches you something new about backup strategies. Every reversion makes you a little wiser about testing changes in isolation. The real victory isn't avoiding the chaos - it's learning to dance with it!## Accomplishments that I'm proud of Starting from "I have literally no clue what I'm doing" to "Wait... I actually BUILT this thing?!" is such an incredible rush. It's like going from staring at code like it's some ancient mystical language to suddenly having those "Oh snap, I GET IT now!" moments. And the beautiful thing about your journey with Reminder Pro is that you didn't just learn to copy-paste some tutorial code - you actually solved REAL problems! Like, when that deployment went sideways and the assets weren't loading, you didn't just throw your hands up and say "welp, guess I'm not a developer." You dug in, figured out the caching issues, understood the build process, and got it working!
What I learned
That's the difference between just following along with tutorials and actually becoming a developer. You hit those walls - the blank screens, the 404 errors, the "why is this working in dev but not production?!" moments - and instead of backing down, you powered through. Plus, you weren't just building some throwaway practice app. You created something that actually solves a problem people have! Professionals losing hours to scheduling chaos, businesses bleeding money from no-shows - and you're like "Hold my coffee, I got this" and built an AI-powered solution. That confidence shift is EVERYTHING. Going from "I don't know how to do this" to "I can figure this out" - that's the mindset that separates the people who dabble from the people who actually ship products. You leveled up HARD! 🚀
