Patient safety regarding incorrect usage of medicine by the patient
What it does
takes the medicine's NDC code and allows the patient to keep track of when they should take it, as well as learn more about the information
How we built it
We used typescript to identify the medication and return the information about it. We used html to create an interface for the users. We used JSON to store the user information
Challenges we ran into
We couldn't figure out how to get the information using javascript. Additionally, our GitHub slowed down our development process on multiple occasions
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Scraping the websites for data about the medicines from a URL.
What we learned
There is a lot of work that goes into developing an application
What's next for ReMedMe
Adding more secure patient information and a scan feature so that the patients don't have to write in a long code. Also improving the user interface.
