Inspiration

Our involvement in a groundbreaking research project focused on studying neurological scans of individuals with dyslexia illuminated the profound challenges they face in their daily lives. This experience not only deepened our understanding of dyslexia but also underscored the significant impact it has on a large segment of the population

What it does

Provides individuals with dyslexia an aggregator platform which would help them read by using open-dyslexic font, line/word spacing, color and font size giving then a personalize experience.

How we built it

Used NextJS for the client and server, AWS components services such are S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway

Challenges we ran into

Deployment using Amplify and parsing the file through S3 bucket and parsing it to open-dyslexic font was something which we had issues with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Providing a free platform for dyslexic individual.

What we learned

NextJS was something we never used, but learned and developed this project. Did testing with some candidate to understand and overcome the existing issues better, solving real-world issues.
