Remed - An app to help remind you to take your medication with minimal user setup!

Our goal is to help the forgetful to take their medication, but we wanted a more streamlined approach to setting the reminders. The long term goal is to have an app or a webpage for doctors also to simply enter the information for a new medication for a patient and have notifications automatically sent to their phone containing the important details about the medication. But for now users have to manually enter in the medicine name, frequency and time of day.

I focus on the theme of our program. While my team is working on back-end, I design and paint our own logo and try to set up a good appearance of the app.

I was happy to work with my teammates. All of us had good weekends. We implemented Agile process in our developing. During these two days, I was mainly responsible for the back-end of our application. I set up our cloud server: parse, and use it to support the functions, such as push notification. For the other part, I also did some pair programming with my teammates. Really looking forward to the next Hackathon.

In our team we rotated rolls and worked very closely together to keep our project moving in a forward direction, over coming obstacles together. Much of the time was spent doing pair programming. When not doing pair programming, I primarily worked mostly on the front-end GUI of the Android app.
