Remark Discord Bot

Inspiration

We have been inspired bycollab.land

What it does

Users can create roles and enable other users to join those roles if they have specific ntfs from specified collections which defined by the creator of that role.

How we built it

We used React for frontend and wallet connection. We used Express.js for backend API. As a database we used MongoDB. We used Discord API for Discord Bot creation.

Challenges we ran into

We could not find a free server to deploy that is why it can be used only locally. We tried to use rmrk tools to update our database but currently we are just using nfts that are defined in rmrk 1.0

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a discord bot that can manage and create user roles by looking at their nft collections.

What we learned

We learned how to verify if a user has a particular nft. We learned how nfts are represented in blockchain and how rmrk does it.

What's next for Remark Discord Bot

Deployment to a server. Real time data fetching for nfts by using rmrk-tools instead of looking at the dump file and inclusion of rmrk 2.0.
