Inspiration
India suffered a lot during the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. We did not have enough resources on where to find hospital beds proper oxygen supply medicines neither we knew from where to order medicines or some health tips which would greatly help us.
So we came up with ReLive a one stop web application for all your health needs which is going to be really really useful specially during the times of pandemic.
What it does
The work that ReLive does is fairly simple think of it as one single platform where you can find anything related to your health. Also you can go visit the hospitals from here by taking a look at the available beds consult doctors order medicines for yourself or even send those to any particular location so it makes kind lifestyle of easier in general in general and specially during the times of pandemics.
Challenges we ran into
this time I thought of going solo and also I used next Gen so there was this weird moment where any data that I was putting into the database through postman cancel them going in their respective collections all the data went into one single collection and even some of the fields were missing from the data as the result it took some time to refactor the code for the APIs am I needed to clean the database as well. The Auth0 authentications were also a bit buggy sometimes the email of the user who is logged in wont get stored into their local storage and it costs some errors on box but we did fix it all !
What we learned
Hackathons are an absolute love for me and overall participating in hackathon really helps you improve your time management skills and also it helps you how to you know move much more efficiently towards the problem that you want to solve. This time participating in bon voyage hacks it really helped me with the CSS and making the overall web app responsive in a very short amount of time.
What's next for ReLive
we do have a lot of future plans for relief what are the things that I would like to implement is embedded platform so that the doctors and the ones can actually video chat without have to go into any other applications like this call or WhatsApp. Also I have thought of introducing a mobile version of this web app or rather an Android application which can be much more advanced like modern smartphone users ECG so we can use that app which like their heart beats turn overall tracking system like that so yeah we do have a lot of future plans for it.
